Called a pop icon by the Inrockuptibles Magazine, Bilal Hassani released in 2023 the reissue (Iconic Edition) of his latest album, Théorème, produced by the king of French pop GrandMarnier (Yelle).
In 2019, after defending France at EUROVISION with his song "ROI" - a vibrant message of self-acceptance - he released his successful debut album "KINGDOM" and won the NRJ Music Awards for "Révélation Francophone de l'année". The same year, his first tour was rewarded with an Olympia award.
In 2020, he founded his own label, House Of Hassani, and produced his second album, "Contre Soirée", the video for the first single, "FAIS LE VIDE", winning the MTV France Music Video of the Year.
In 2021, Bilal was a finalist in Danse avec les Stars season 11, becoming the first person in Europe to dance with a person of the same sex, and shining a spotlight on the LGBTQIA+ community on prime time. His performances left a lasting impression!
Bilal keeps on exploring his artistry. The French prince of pop landed a first role in "Les Reines du Drame" by the rising queer movie director, Alexis Langlois, released in cinemas on Nov 27, 2024. A second film is also planned for Spring 2025.
